Bear is a seven year-old male Australian Shepherd/chow mix who weighs about 70 pounds. Bear knows basic obedience is very intelligent and trainable. Bear had a previous neck injury and needs to be walked with a harness only. Bear is usually very sweet and lovable, but has had a questionable history in the past. A volunteer at pet savers has taken him out several times and he always behaves extremely well. He loves running and playing ball - Bear loves exercising. Bear is heartworm positive, but has been started on the slow kill treatment. Even though Bear it’s usually very well behaved- we recommend an adult only household.

As cute as I am somebody just dumped me near Pet Savers. Everyone thinks I might be a Jack Russell mix, but who knows. I’m just a happy puppy!

Scotch is one of four puppies who were just abandoned on the streets until a kind person brought them to Pet Savers. He is an eight month old lab mix, whose history is unknown. Tanner is a four year-old American blue heeler who was previously adopted, but was returned because his owner got injured and is no longer able to play and care for him. Jerky is a one-year-old hound mix who is very playful and gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t even seem to mind cats. Jerky does very well with children and loves meeting people. Max 2 is an eight month old hound mix who weighs 48 pounds and is a very friendly dog. He and his pal Jerky were owner surrendered due to a change in the owner’s circumstances. The family loved both of these dogs. Max is great with people of all ages, plays well with other dogs, and doesn’t seem to mind cats. Ace 3 is a four year-old lab mix who has not had the easiest life. He was run over as a puppy and lost his back leg. Ace 3 has not had consistent care since his injury. His life changed once he got to pet savers. He is now with a foster family and is having a ball. He quickly bonded with Hazel, his foster sister, and they love playing together- Ace gets along great with other dogs too. He loves people and it’s always ready to get a belly rub. Cruella is a cute one year-old dachshund mix who weighs 20 pounds and was surrendered by her owner. She was very scared when she first arrived at the shelter and needed lots of coaxing to come out of her igloo. Cruella has been with her foster mom for a little while and she is a changed little girl. She is now running around the backyard, playing with many toys and becoming comfortable meeting new people. After a busy day, Cruella loves to snuggle up with her foster mom and watch TV. Cruella gets along great with other dogs.
